MONTREAL, Feb. 27, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Thirty years ago, the Constitution Act of 1982 was proclaimed in Ottawa without Québec's consent. A colloquium will be held in Montreal from April 12 to 14 to mark this event which shaped the political history of the Canadian federation. The activity is being organized by the International Association of Québec Studies in collaboration with the Canada Research Chair in Québec and Canadian Studies at the Université du Québec à Montréal and the Association québécoise de droit constitutionnel (Québec constitutional law association).
