TORONTO, July 29, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Yesterday, the Lolë White TourTM, a series of unique yoga events in cities around the world organized by women's activewear and lifestyle brand Lolë, visited Toronto's Exhibition Place for a spectacular outdoor yoga session at sunset.
A group of 3,000 yoga lovers, dressed all in white as a symbol of peace, gathered to experience a unique evening of pure serenity against the backdrop of the picturesque Arches of Toronto on Canada Boulevard. It was a completely new concept for the Lolë White TourTM, who, for the first-time ever, offered a blissful evening session under the setting sun! From 8:30pm – 10pm, this beautiful location hosted a special yoga class led by renowned and long-time yoga teacher for the Tour, Elena Brower, among beloved Toronto teachers Lisa Messina and Marla Meenakshi Joy, to the soothing sound of singer and performer Ariana Zita on her piano.
"This year's concept brought the Lolë White TourTM to a whole new level," said Nathalie Binda, VP Brand and Marketing at Lolë. "Practicing yoga at sunset in such an inspiring setting, invites deep inner reflection within a shared energy. You feel that all these thousands of strangers with whom you shared this practice have now become friends. It's a truly exceptional experience for the body and soul!"
The annual Lolë White TourTM was launched in 2012 with the goal of building a global wellness movement. In 2016, Lolë launched the Lolë White Tour On The Road, a series of community-powered local yoga sessions organized in cities across the globe. By the end of this year's edition, the brand will have united over 65,000 yoga aficionados around the world, bringing top yoga talent together with local communities to practice in inspiring, emotionally uplifting locations.
Thanks to the support of its main partners in Toronto; Oikos, Elle Canada, Biotherm, Pure Leaf and Sporting Life, the Tour continues to promote personal connections, community involvement, and the opportunity to experience the exceptional. The next Canadian tour stop is set for August 18th in Montreal's Old Port.
Lolë continues to build its following within the Ontario community, having over 200 ambassadors across the province and 8 stores in the Greater Toronto Area. The brand even plans to open its first-ever pop-up shop in Ottawa's Rideau Center this coming August.
