35th annual Take Back the Night rally to focus on sexual and gender-based violence against Black Lives
TORONTO, Sept. 24, 2015 /CNW/ - On Saturday, September 26, 2015, members of Toronto's Black communities and their allies will rally and march as part of the 35th annual Take Back the Night. Under the theme #AllBlackLivesMatter, hundreds will gather to march against sexual, gender-based, and Police violence, and specifically highlighting violence experienced by Black Trans Women, Black sex workers, Black LGBTQ people. They will be joined by Patrisse Cullors, the Los-Angeles-based founder of the Black Lives Matter movement.
