35th annual Toronto Maple Leafs Skate for Easter Seals Kids
Skate with Leafs greats at Air Canada Centre Sunday, February 24, 2013
TORONTO, Feb. 5, 2013 /CNW/ - Hockey enthusiasts, Leafs fans and skaters of all ages will have the opportunity to hit the ice with the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni at the 35th annual Toronto Maple Leafs Skate for Easter Seals Kids - 2013 Skate with the Greats. Participants who raise a minimum of $150 in pledges will have the opportunity to skate with Leafs Alumni at Air Canada Centre (ACC) in Toronto on Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Skaters will have the opportunity to engage in autograph signings and skate alongside participating Leafs Alumni, including Wendel Clark and Darryl Sittler and other much-loved Leafs players. A complimentary lunch will be provided at the end of each skating session, courtesy of MR. SUB. All individual skaters who raise more than $175 qualify for special prizes that include an autographed Toronto Maple Leafs jersey and other coveted Leafs memorabilia.

Skaters must register online at www.EasterSealsSkate.org, and choose their preferred session time. Skate sessions are in one hour intervals. Spectators tickets are available for $30, which includes entrance into the arena, a complimentary lunch and the opportunity to participate in the concourse-level activities.

Since 1922, Easter Seals Ontario has played an important role in providing support for children and youth with physical disabilities. Easter Seals offers financial assistance for mobility and communication devices, fully accessible summer camps and funding for other summer recreational programs.
