The new fit program is the result of 18 months intensive research completed by Addition Elle after taking stock of customers' concerns, frustrations and disappointments. Findings showed that 7 out of 10 customers were dissatisfied when shopping for a good fitting and flattering pair of jeans or pants, and that key factors to consider when addressing a variety of body shapes are the bust to waist and lower hip to waist differentials. These results became the basis for the development of the four new pant fits, particularly the waist to hip measurement which is the primary dimension that makes the difference in finding a perfect fitting pair of pants.
