CALGARY, Nov. 4 /CNW/ - The 50 Top Mompreneurs for 2010 were announced by the MOMpreneur® Networking Group Inc. today. This is the second year outstanding mompreneurs have been celebrated by the MOMpreneur® which encourages and supports mothers being entrepreneurs through our website, e-newsletters, events and bi-monthly magazine distributed across Canada by subscription and in Indigo, Chapters and key independent bookstores.

The mompreners either applied or were nominated and they were judged by Audrey Mabee, former co-owner of the Croft and former President of Alberta College of Art and Design; Kris Matthews, Founding Partner, The Matthews Group and CFO of the MOMpreneur® Networking Group Inc., and Frances Wright, CEO/Publisher of the MOMpreneur®. Ten mompreneurs were chosen in each category -- Green Products/Services; Health-Based; Home-Based; Community; and Annual Revenue.
