55th Annual Fly Day - Saturday, September 28, 2013 - Come fly with us…

OTTAWA, Sept. 17, 2013 /CNW/ - On Saturday, September 28, 2013, the Ottawa Flying Club and the Ottawa Rotary Club are holding the 55th Annual Fly Day, a unique event that provides the public an opportunity to see Ottawa from a small aircraft in support of a local charitable organization. The cost is $40 per person.

The Fly Day event raises funds for the Rotary Home of Ottawa, which provides respite care to families of children with physical disabilities.

This year's Fly Day is scheduled for Saturday, September 28, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, weather permitting. The event is held at the Ottawa Flying Club, 20 Lindbergh Private (off Hunt Club just east of Riverside Drive).

Fly Day is a wonderful opportunity to see the nation's capital from the air and is a popular event for families. Fly Day is timed to view the fall foliage at its peak.
