MONT-TREMBLANT, QC, Oct. 16, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - On the occasion of its 75th anniversary, Tremblant is refreshing its lodging offer. The Westin Resort & Spa Tremblant is refining its interior design concept and enhancing its guest experience at the heart of the resort destination, with a $5M investment into the upscale lodging establishment's public spaces. The hotel offers 122 guestrooms, six meeting rooms, a restaurant featuring Japanese fine cuisine, a lounge, a fitness studio and an Amerispa Health and Beauty Centre.
Befitting the Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. signature and referencing the destination's unique qualities, the new design direction is timeless, refined and tonal. "Inspiration is drawn from natural elements and an authentic, sophisticated approach places guest wellness at the core of the Westin experience," says Serge Dufresne, General Manager of Westin Resort & Spa Tremblant. "The emphasis is on noble materials such as wood and stone while rich energizing textures and textiles have been selected for their eco-sensitivity and refinement. The color palette is composed of refreshed neutrals, verdant greens and soothing blues. Uncluttered modern furniture profiles present timeless, fluid lines and satiny finishes reveal a subtle sheen," explains the lodging establishment's general manager of three years.
47 Newly Renovated, Guest-Ready Rooms
Out of deference for guests and to preserve an environment where calm and balance are key, work has been divided into two distinct phases with hallways and guestrooms remaining the top priority. Carpeting, painting, wallpapering, kitchenettes and furnishings ‒ from beds and televisions to window treatments ‒ all will undergo a complete makeover. To date, renovations on the top three floors have been completed and 47 guestrooms stand ready to welcome their first guests. Refurbishment of the lodging establishment's three lower floors is ongoing and guestrooms and hallways will be finished for the holiday season.
Work will cease during the slide season with phase two commencing late April 2014. The second phase will address public spaces of which the lobby and front desk, meeting and banquet rooms and the Fitness Studio.
