72-Hour Visa-Free Stay Makes for a Great Tour of Beijing and Shanghai

Beijing and Shanghai started a 72-hour visa-free stay policy on January 1, 2013 for citizens from 45 countries who hold the visa of and an air ticket to a third country or region. In response to the policy, Air China and a number of domestic travel operators have jointly introduced innovative, custom one to three day excursions that cater to the needs of transfer passengers.
