8th Edition of Plaza St-Hubert's Défilé des rêves - Come and Experience the Magic of Christmas! Français
MONTREAL, Nov. 22, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The 8th edition of Plaza St-Hubert's Défilé des rêves, organized by la Société de développement commercial (SDC) will take place on Friday, November 30, 2012, at 7:00 pm. In a magical Christmas fairytale atmosphere, families can marvel at the arrival of Santa Claus and his Dream Fairy. These mythical beings will be accompanied by several popular children's characters, different entertainers, as well as by a cavalcade of antique fire trucks. This beautifully lit procession for children will get underway at the corner of Bellechasse Street, and will end at the intersection of Jean-Talon Street. During the event, many surprises will be given especially by the Snowvillage and by Santa's Village.
On with the show!
Circus entertainers will also join in the celebration, adding a fantastic element to this unique evening. Dream hunters and their vibrantly coloured puppets will also be on hand to spark the imagination of families taking part in the festivities. Mike Parente, Executive Director of the SDC: "It's the perfect occasion to get in the holiday spirit. Our parade stands out because it's close to the people, has fantastic elements, but mostly because it takes place in the evening. We hope that 35,000 people will attend again this year!"
