$170,000 Raised to Help Many Youth Organizations in Western Montérégie
MONTREAL, July 10, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - The 8th annual NB Grand Tour was held last weekend. Over 300 National Bank employees ran or cycled during the event, raising $170,000 for the Fondation Jeunes en Tête, whose mission is to prevent psychological distress among youth aged 11 to 18, as well as for eight organizations in Western Montérégie that support the development and well-being of young people. Note that 100% of the funds raised by participants are donated to the organizations.
Since its founding, the NB Grand Tour has given nearly $920,000 for youth organizations whose mission is to meet local needs.

Louis-François Marcotte, renowned entrepreneur and chef, was the spokesperson for the event and cycled alongside employees. He stated, "I love cycling and youth causes are important to me. I also live and work in Montérégie, so I was all the more pleased to contribute to the cause as spokesperson and participant."
The funds raised will be given to regional organizations that, with the Fondation Jeunes en Tête, develop and implement preventive and restorative programs for the well-being and health of young people. The organizations selected are Sino-Québec de la Rive-Sud, Le Café de la Débrouille, Club Octogone l'Envol de Vaudreuil-Dorion, Benado, Fondation du Collège de Valleyfield, Regroupement des maisons des jeunes de la Montérégie-Ouest, Commission scolaire des Trois-Lacs and Grands Frères Grandes Sœurs de la Montérégie.
