A Day to Elevate the Debate: Equal Voice calls for a Multi-Lateral Ceasefire
in the House
OTTAWA, Oct. 18 /CNW/ - On Tuesday, October 19th, Equal Voice, a multi-partisan organization promoting the election of more women, is inviting Members of Parliament to a multi-lateral ceasefire. All MPs have been invited to 'elevate the debate' in the House of Commons in recognition of the historic significance of Person's Day.
Equal Voice has invited over one hundred girls and young women, to come to Parliament Hill to learn about the different roles female MPs play on the Hill. They will then proceed to Question Period to witness a debate where we invite MPs to be tough, not rough!
