MONTREAL, Nov. 4, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Ms. Dominique Anglade, President and CEO of Montréal International (MI), congratulates the newly-elected municipal officials in Québec's municipalities—particularly those in the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal (CMM) territory.
"The time has finally come for the Greater Montréal region to start a new chapter that will revive the metropolitan area. With this aim in mind, MI is eager to work with all elected officials in the 82 CMM municipalities. I would also like to congratulate them on winning the election," said Ms. Anglade. "You can count on my cooperation and I invite the new mayors, who will be sitting on the CMM Council and Executive Committee, to discuss a common vision to make Greater Montréal even more competitive and prosperous."
As Greater Montréal's investment promotion agency, MI helps to build wealth in the metropolitan area by attracting, retaining and helping the expansion of foreign companies and international organizations in the region, and by supporting their efforts to recruit international talent.
