TORONTO, Aug. 30, 2017 /CNW/ - After being U-Turned by Korey and Ivana, Adam and Andrea from Montréal were the last team to reach the Pit Stop in Moose Jaw, Sask., on last night's episode of THE AMAZING RACE CANADA on CTV.
"We're a lot more alike than we think, that's for sure, said Adam. "She is so competitive; she just doesn't quit, and doesn't stop, I'm so proud of her." "It's awesome to have a bond like this. We're a real team, older or younger, we're such a team," said Andrea.

In last night's (Aug. 29) episode of THE AMAZING RACE CANADA, all five teams raced to Regina, Sask., and found out the stakes had been raised once again, with the season's second Double U-Turn ahead. Once teams touched down, they made their way to Douglas Park Elementary School. Teams then helped grant a Regina mom's BMO wish that every child receive a nutritious meal to start their day, by providing freshly squeezed orange juice for the students. Once they served all of their juice to the students, they received their next clue.
Teams then made their way to Aulie Farms, where they were met with a Detour challenge. In this Detour, Teams had to choose between "Cart" or "Horse." In "Cart," teams had to maneuver a Brandt conveyor belt over a grain cart, and shovel 1000Ibs of canola grain onto their conveyor belt, and into the cart. Once they had the correct weight, they received their next clue. In "Horse," teams became good old-fashioned auctioneers. One Racer received the auctioneer script, while the other Racer had to learn the hand signals of the bid-catcher. As the horse was displayed, the auctioneer was tasked with reciting the horse's story, and calling out the asking price, while the bid-catcher acknowledged and relayed all bids. When they reached a $6,000 bid, they received their next clue. Sam and Paul and Adam and Andrea fell behind, as they struggled to turn on their conveyor belt, while Kenneth and Ryan finished the auctioneer Detour on their first attempt, and left the farm in first place.
After arriving last at the previous leg, Karen and Bert had to complete a Speed Bump before moving on to the Detour. For this Speed Bump, Karen and Bert had to get down and dirty mucking out a horse stall. After clearing out the dirty hay, and laying a fresh layer, Karen and Bert received their clue and moved on to the Detour.
Teams were then faced with a Double U-Turn at The Dog River Hotel in Rouleau, Sask., made famous by the Canadian hit TV series, CORNER GAS. Kenneth and Ryan, who arrived first, were eager to get their revenge, and U-Turned Sam and Paul. Korey and Ivana arrived at the U-Turn board second, and decided to U-Turn their biggest competition, Adam and Andrea. Sam and Paul and Adam and Andrea then made their way back to complete the "Horse" Detour. Andrea couldn't master the bid-catcher's hand gestures, and were passed by Sam and Paul.
Racers then made their way to Crescent Park in Moose Jaw, Sask. Once they arrived, they were tasked to create a piece of modern art using 200 cans of Chunky Campbell's soup. Making sure all of the labels were facing the right way, teams had to create an exact replica of the maple leaf. Once the can sculpture was complete, teams received their next clue. Adam and Andrea arrived last and couldn't find their balance, falling further behind.
Teams then made their way to Grandpa's Garden, where one Racer suited up to search through a bee hive to find the queen bee. Once they found the queen, they received their next clue. Sam and Paul completed the bee challenge first, and made their way to 15 Wing Moose Jaw, a Canadian Armed Forces Base and home of The Canadian Forces' Snowbirds, where they found Host Jon Montgomery at the Pit Stop. After arriving first on this leg of the Race, Sam and Paul won a trip for two to Costa Rica. Adam and Andrea were last to reach the Pit Stop, and were eliminated from the Race.
