A Special Evening with Israeli President Shimon Peres - Live in Toronto on Wednesday May 9th, 2012
TORONTO, May 3, 2012 /CNW/ - UJA Federation of Greater Toronto is proud to be hosting a special evening with Israeli President Shimon Peres.
Mr. Peres will be interviewed live on stage by noted Political Analyst and Television Commentator David Frum.
Celebrated Canadian film producer Robert Lantos will act as Master of Ceremonies for this special evening.
A former Prime Minister of Israel and a Nobel Peace Prize Winner for his work on the Oslo Accords, Shimon Peres has been at the forefront of key historical developments pre-dating and including the creation of the State of Israel. This is a rare opportunity to hear from the country's ranking elder statesman and indeed, one of the world's most historically significant figures.
