TORONTO, May 30, 2017 /CNW/ - Following a season in which CTV delivered the Top 2 most-watched new programs of the year with A25-54, and six of the Top 10 most-watched programs overall, CTV announced today it has landed 13 big, buzzy, new series from this year's Los Angeles Screenings. Among the four new comedies and nine new dramas are:
The new series were strategically selected from partners Warner Bros. International Television, Disney ABC Domestic Television, Sony Pictures Television, Lionsgate Entertainment, and Twentieth Century Fox.
CTV and CTV Two's 2017/18 primetime schedules will be unveiled at the #CTVUpfront on Wednesday, June 7 in Toronto. CTV ended the 2016/17 season as Canada's most-watched television network among total viewers and A25-54 for an unprecedented 16th year in a row.

Logline: The unforgettable Conners family returns in eight-episode reboot of the series.
Synopsis:
The eight-episode reboot of ROSEANNE, a comedy about the Conners, barely scraping by in the fictional town of Lanford, Illinois, features the original cast – Roseanne Barr (THE TIPPING POINT) as Roseanne, John Goodman (SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE) as Dan, Sara Gilbert (THE TALK) as Darlene, Laurie Metcalf (THE BIG BANG THEORY) as Jackie, Michael Fishman (SEINFELD) as D.J., and Lecy Goranson (THE EXTRA MAN) as Becky. THE MAYOR
Logline: When an outspoken, idealistic rapper runs for office as a publicity stunt and actually gets elected, he surprises everyone (including himself) when he has a natural knack for the job and slowly transforms City Hall.
