A succesful second edition - No less than 9000 visitors to the Salon de l'immigration et de l'intégration au Québec 2013

MONTREAL, May 6, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - No less than 9000 visitors attended the Salon de l'immigration et de l'intégration au Québec (SIIQ) 2013. The popularity of the second edition of the SIIQ, held on May 3 and 4, confirms the relevance of this unifying event, as the information needs of newcomers are great. With this success, the organizers announced the return of the show on Friday May 9^th and Saturday, May 10^th, 2014, at the Palais des congrès de Montreal.

Organized by Immigrant Québec, the event gathered, under the same roof, 169 exhibitors, who presented their services and opportunities for newcomers over the seven zones of the Show, which followed the various stages of immigration and integration processes. 24 conferences and 24 workshops on employment, training, entrepreneurship and day-to-day life were followed by hundreds of visitors.

"We have received positive feedback both from exhibitors and visitors. We are very proud of this event, which promises to become an annual event not to miss, for years to come", said Immigrant Quebec president and co-founder, Jonathan Chodjaï.
