Throughout the summer, Irving Oil's customers were given collector cards, and applied stickers from game tickets received after each purchase at participating Irving Oil locations. With three ways to play, customers had the chance to win Ford Escapes, Harley-Davidsons, Sea-Doo's and the guaranteed $100,000 grand prize.
"It's been an outstanding year for Pump Up the Fun," says Janelle Shillington, Retail Marketing Manager at Irving Oil. "Not only did we offer more prizes, but we also provided our customers with more ways to play while fueling up all summer long."
"It really is life-changing," says Jenna Taylor, winner of the $100,000 grand prize. "These winnings could not have come at a better time for my family. When I got the winning sticker, I couldn't believe it; thank you Irving Oil."
"You don't know how much this means, it's fabulous," said Glovertown, Newfoundland and Labrador resident Kim Gordon when she learned her PIN was drawn for her $25,000 prize. "They always say that if you don't play, you won't win. Well I played, and I've won!"
Jenna and Kim weren't alone in their excitement; customers had fun collecting game stickers and entering their PINs online all summer long. This year's contest was the largest summer giveaway in Irving Oil history, with over 11,000 winners and $5 million in prizes and discounts up for grabs.
