TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Sculpture To Be Featured
OTTAWA, Jan. 30, 2015 /CNW/ - The TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games are bringing a taste of summer excitement to Winterlude, with Curt Harnett, Canada's chef de mission for the Games, hosting the festival's opening ceremony, and PACHI, the Games mascot, making the rounds.
"Winterlude is a wonderful tradition and I'm glad we can be part of the fun and excitement. This is PACHI's first trip to the National Capital Region, and I know he'll help build anticipation for our summer Games," said Saäd Rafi, chief executive officer of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee (TO2015). "With the festival celebrating "the year of sport." I hope we'll see people from eastern Ontario coming to the Greater Golden Horseshoe region in July and August to cheer for the largest Team Canada ever assembled."

Tickets for the Games are on sale now. The TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games ticketing program is designed to be affordable and accessible for everyone by offering:
Affordable pricing: Tickets start at just $20, with 75 per cent priced $45 and under.
Half-price tickets for persons under 16 years of age, or 65 and over: Tickets are offered at a 50 per cent discount — some tickets start at $10. The number of discounted tickets is limited, so buy early.
Integrated tickets: Every event ticket allows the holder to access transit on the day of the event.

Tickets for the TORONTO 2015 Parapan Am Games will go on sale in spring 2015. They promise more exciting action featuring some of the world's best para-athletes competing for their chance to go to the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
