TORONTO, June 7, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - HBO Canada, a multiplex channel of Astral's The Movie Network (Eastern Canada) and Corus Entertainment's Movie Central (Western Canada), is taking subscribers inside the trenches of a fictional broadcast news organization with HBO's newest drama series, The Newsroom. From Aaron Sorkin, the creator of The West Wing and Sports Night, The Newsroom premieres Sunday, June 24 at 10:00 p.m ET/MT, day-and-date with HBO in the US.
