Aberdeen Opens Toronto Office
Hires Business Development Manager </pre> <p><location>TORONTO</location>, <chron>Dec. 1</chron> /CNW/ -- Aberdeen Asset Management Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of a new Canadian office to strengthen the company's business in <location>Canada</location>. The office will be located at 161 Bay Street, 27th Floor, Brookfield Place TD <location>Canada</location> Trust Tower, <location>Toronto</location>, Ontario.</p> <p/> <p>To further Aberdeen's commitment to the Canadian market, <person>Kimberley Woolverton</person>, CFA, will assume the position of Business Development Manager in the <location>Toronto</location> office. Kimberley will report to <person>Renee Arnold</person> and will focus on servicing our existing clients as well as building future relationships in the Canadian marketplace.</p> <p/> <p>Prior to joining Aberdeen, Kim was responsible for business development and client servicing at Burgundy Asset Management in <location>Toronto</location>. She also spent over three years with Merrill Lynch in <location>Denver</location>, Colorado. She started with <person>Murray Johnstone</person> in 1984 to maintain the international performance reporting system and institutional consultant liaison program and was promoted to Vice President in 1992. Renee previously worked for Union Texas Petroleum as a geophysical technician analyzing the fault systems of <location>Abu Dhabi</location> and <location>Indonesia</location>.
