Absolute Names Steve Munford as Advisor
Non-Executive Chairman of Sophos Joins Absolute in Advisory Role
VANCOUVER, July 28, 2015 /CNW/ - Absolute® Software Corporation (TSX: ABT), the industry standard for persistent endpoint security and management solutions for computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones, today announced that Steve Munford has been appointed as an Advisor to the company.
Mr. Munford is the non-executive chairman of the Board of Directors at Sophos, a global provider of IT security and data protection products for businesses. Munford served as chief executive officer of Sophos from 2005 to 2012, during which time he led the company through a significant period of growth. Previously, he was the President of ActiveState, an email security software organization, before its acquisition by Sophos in 2003.
