Absolute Software Recognized in the 2014 Gartner Critical Capabilities for Client Management Tools
Absolute Manage Provides Persistent Security and Management Across all Devices
VANCOUVER, Aug. 5, 2014 /CNW/ - Absolute® Software Corporation (TSX: ABT), the industry standard for persistent endpoint security and management solutions for computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones, today announced that Gartner, Inc. has rated its client management solution, Absolute Manage®, in its June 13, 2014 Critical Capabilities for Client Management Tools Report.
Gartner gave Absolute Manage the highest score of 4.7 out of 5 for Cross-Platform Support and tied for third-highest score of 4.4 out of 5 for Administration and Usage out of the 14 vendors reviewed. Of the four use cases named in the report, Absolute Manage tied for the highest product score in the Resource and Expertise-Constrained use case, 3.7 out of 5, and was one of three vendors who were rated second-highest vendor in the Total Client Management use case with 3.5 out of 5 out of the 14 vendors reviewed.
