Accenture Appoints Ahmed Etman as Managing Director, Security for Canada
TORONTO, Feb. 26, 2018 /CNW/ - Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has appointed Ahmed Etman as managing director for its security practice in Canada, effective immediately. In this role, Etman will be responsible for expanding Accenture's cybersecurity services to protect its clients' entire value chains, and help clients prepare, protect, detect, respond and recover along all points of the security lifecycle.

A senior executive and a cybersecurity thought leader with more than 20 years of experience, Etman will lead initiatives to help drive Accenture's leadership and engagement within the Canadian security ecosystem. He will work with clients and security ecosystem partners at the executive level to deliver services that result in business-driven, risk focused security strategies, operating models and compliance plans that are aligned with their unique business needs.

Prior to joining Accenture, Etman led the Networking and Security business for Cisco in Emerging Markets before relocating to Canada in late 2012 to lead Cisco's Security business. Prior to Cisco, he held various leadership positions at Internet Security Systems Middle East and Africa.
Etman received an MBA from both Northwestern's Kellogg School of Business and from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He speaks three languages—English, French and Arabic—and is a proven leader who empowers cross functional teams in large organizations.
