Accessible Leadership: A Multitude of Career Paths - Raymond Chabot Grant
Thornton Breakfast Seminar
MONTREAL, Nov. 24 /CNW Telbec/ - This morning, the Loft Hotel in Montréal was the scene of the Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton (RCGT) breakfast seminar entitled "Accessible Leadership: a Multitude of Career Paths". Over 200 invited guests turned out to listen to the inspiring presentations of three leaders with unusual career paths: Natalie Larivière, President, Transcontinental Media, François Côté, Executive Vice-President and President, Telus Québec and Yves Devin, General Manager, Société de transport de Montréal. In their own way, each of these three influential leaders with unusual career paths represents the new face of leadership in today's business world.
Louise Martel, RCGT Partner, was proud to be hosting an event that was at once informal, lively and inspiring. She highlighted how each panellist personifies a unique version of a leader: "These are three leaders with unusual career paths who have had to adapt to changes or certain crises in their respective organizations. They are living proof that there are many ways to achieve targeted objectives, but that there are also certain common denominators underlying the success of the greatest leaders. These leaders have each followed their own course, honed their strategic vision, developed their leadership, and surrounded themselves with a capable team".
The career paths presented by the three panellists proved inspiring to those in attendance and shed light on the essential and accessible qualities of a good leader. The message at the conclusion of the breakfast seminar was: leadership is accessible, and there are numerous ways to stand out and achieve one's objectives.
