CALGARY, April 21, 2020 /CNW/ - In a generous display of community kindness, Ace Plumbing and Heating is responding to the current Covid19 pandemic protocol by providing a free delivery service for groceries, as well as complimentary replacement furnace filters and water softener salt.
"As an essential service, we are already out on the roads and following government safety protocols," says Jack DeVetten, owner of Ace Plumbing and Heating, together with his wife Margaret DeVetten.
"People in our communities are doing their part by staying at home to slow the curve, and self-isolating to reduce the risk of spreading Covid. We see an opportunity to help others help us all, by offering to pick up curbside grocery orders, completed and paid for by the purchaser, and delivering at no charge to any address in our service area," DeVetten says.
The DeVettens have owned and operated Ace Plumbing and Heating since 2002, and the company has been providing plumbing and heating services to the Calgary region for 45 years. Both were born and raised Calgarian and have a special love for the people of Alberta and this area specifically.
"In times of crisis, Calgarians have always stood together. Now, we are doing our part to stand with the community in an act of service that feels good and right to do."
Anyone wishing to use this special offer for a free bag of water softener salt, a free furnace filter, and free pre-paid grocery pick ups can call Ace Plumbing and Heating at 403 907 0706, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
This no-cost Covid19 Care Service is in effect immediately and will continue until government guidelines for social isolating are lifted.
