Acision and Blacc Spot Media Launch WebRTC Powered Training Tool for Direct Selling Businesses - to be Demoed at MWC 2015
Built on Acision's forge SDK, TRAIN.ME will allow business users to learn quickly and mentor easily through video, audio and chat functionality
READING, England, March 2, 2015 /CNW/ - Acision, the global leader in mobile engagement services and an industry innovator in WebRTC technology, will showcase for the first time at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015, its TRAIN.ME application built by its partner Blacc Spot Media Inc., a leading WebRTC, Mobile and Web Application Development House.
TRAIN.ME is powered by the forge SDK, providing integration with WebRTC capabilities which enable secure, real-time chat, voice, video and presence, all at the touch of a button. The rich media features of WebRTC means businesses can offer engaging and interactive communication services, such as training from mobile and web-enabled devices.
TRAIN.ME has been built specifically for multi-level marketing companies, providing a smart application to train and develop new and existing employees in a simple format. With sales representatives often across geographic distances, the TRAIN.ME tool means users can get up to speed rapidly on products and selling techniques, in order to begin direct selling quickly and consistently in line with an enterprise's national or global objectives and targets.
The beauty of TRAIN.ME is that it can provide trainers, trainees, mentors and mentees with the ability to connect quickly using pre-recorded videos, as well as live chat and multi-chat video.
Users log in through their LinkedIn profile and choose whether they are a trainer, trainee, mentee or mentor in order to access different functionalities.
The prototype being demoed at Mobile World Congress has been built for the beauty sector, providing users with advice and tutorials on how to sell and apply cosmetics. However, the application can be white-labelled for any business with a corporate training programme.
Eric Bilange, Head of Rich Engagement Services at Acision, commented: "The value of "click-to-communicate" video, voice and chat is huge and will add a new level of interactivity and engagement to digital training for any business. When you look at the success of online influencers like Zoella, who have made their name through video tutorials, it's clear that there is latent demand for better visual communications and training, which can be accessed remotely online and on the go. We want to empower enterprises to better connect with their employees and serve their training and development needs. With our forge SDK enterprises can build and easily integrate rich communications into apps such as training solutions, offering a conducive environment for learning with higher levels of engagement."
Lantre Barr, Founder and CEO at Blacc Spot Media, added: "WebRTC allows any business to establish more effective two-way communication. As an internal training tool, TRAIN.ME is highly effective; for trainers, trainees, mentors and mentees. Trainers and mentors can deliver training and catch up sessions through recorded video content or calls. This saves time and ensures consistency. By establishing a digital way of training direct sellers, companies can make certain that their representatives are entrenched into the business and are selling uniformly across the globe."
Trainers and mentors can record training videos for users and store them under different categories which can be easily searched for and provide help on specific topics. Tutorials can also be played back at a time that suits the user.
Users have the added plus of being able to talk directly with mentors via live video and audio chat directly from within the TRAIN.ME application. Utilising the Acision forge SDK makes this process simple and seamless for the user, meaning they can gain insight and guidance on how to excel within their organisation.
Acision announced its partnership with Blacc Spot Media Inc., at the start of 2015 and together the companies have already created a WebRTC solution for the banking sector. In addition, both companies will be showcasing a retail specific application at Mobile World Congress, which demonstrates how enterprises in the retail sector can engage customers via multiple channels and touch-points so they can develop richer relationships. In this use case, a retailer's customer relationship agents can interact with customers via video or chat, again showcasing "click-to-communication" of the forge SDK. A customer can instantly see when an agent is online and connect seamlessly, interacting by video in some instances, and by voice in other scenarios.
By combining Blacc Spot Media's innovation in creating cutting-edge applications, with Acision's innovation in web and mobile engagement technology, both companies can deliver next-generation communication solutions for consumers and enterprises, all built using Acision's forge SDK, part of the forge by Acision platform. Blacc Spot Media, in partnership with Acision, can build customised versions of any of their applications.
The demo of the TRAIN.ME application will be showcased on the Acision stand at MWC in Barcelona from 2nd - 5th March 2015. Visit Acision at stand A41 in Hall 8.1 or get in touch if you would like to arrange a meeting or live demo. Blacc Spot Media will also be coding live on the Acision stand.
