Acision Launches National and International Interconnect Solutions, Enabling Cross-carrier and Cross-border Consumer Services for Mobile Operators
Acision Smart Messaging App and Collect Insights Data Analytics Solution - Spotlighted live for the first time at Mobile World Congress
READING, England, March 3, 2015 /CNW/ - Acision, a global leader in secure, mobile messaging services, today announced that following the success of its "Credit Orchestration" and Consumer Services business in the LATAM, APAC and MEAP regions, it will be launching complementary national and international interconnect solutions to mobile operators. This means operators can now offer services to their subscriber base that are supported across multiple operators' networks, as well as across country borders. Additionally, this week at Mobile World Congress (MWC), Acision will be showcasing for the first time its Smart Messaging app, which allows users to manage their SMS messaging services directly from within their device. Acision will also demo its Collect Insights solution at MWC, a service for operators which enables them to effectively manage and analyse subscriber usage data in order to better market services and tailor to user's needs.
As one of the market leaders in Value Added Services Orchestration, Acision has the most comprehensive portfolio of solutions built on Acision Dialogue Manager (ADM) and designed to take advantage of global mobile subscribers who are on prepaid contracts and can run out of credit at any time. For example, Acision's award-winning Collect SMS Service enables operators to generate additional messaging revenues from out-of-credit users that would otherwise be lost. Collect SMS makes it possible for low or out-of-credit prepaid customers to request a message recipient to accept the cost. If the proposed recipient agrees, then the message can be sent, ensuring that customers can stay in touch with each other and providing additional revenue for the operator. Other services include Prepaid SMS, Gift SMS, Sponsored SMS and IOU SMS, alongside a market leading range of Personalised Messaging features such as Blacklist, Whitelist, Address Book and Notifications, which are all based on Acision's industry-recognised experience in messaging.
"Leveraging our messaging infrastructure business, and due to our proven track record and extensive experience in Credit Orchestration services, we are now able to provide operators in markets with high numbers of prepaid subscribers, an option to take their services to a broader community with cross-carrier and cross border interconnect," said Nicolas Appert, Head of Acision's Consumer Services Business. "Every operator has prepaid users with no or low credit and periods of inactivity, so our solutions provide a mobile monetisation and incremental revenue opportunity, where users can send messages whatever their level of credit, and the message cost is still covered. Moreover, as this is an entirely unique proposition, offering greater convenience across networks, it enables our customers to differentiate the service they offer, so improving the customer experience and driving up loyalty."
To make it easy for customers to set-up and manage their services, Acision Smart Messaging app connects directly into the ADM and allows operators to easily provision services and take control of messaging flows. Personalised services available in Acision's Smart Messaging app include Acision's Copy and Divert SMS, Archive SMS, Blacklist and Whitelist creation, Auto-reply and Auto-signature. This gives users the power to manage their own SMS messaging including group discussions, across feature phones and smart phones.
