September's inaugural We've Got Guts Forum invites Torontonians to engage in inspiring conversations around gut health and empowerment from prominent Canadian voices.
TORONTO, Aug. 21, 2023 /CNW/ - Today, Activia – pioneer of probiotic yogurt in the Danone family of brands – is proud to announce its first-ever We've Got Guts Forum. The public event will offer complimentary programming that promotes the importance of gut health amongst attendees while empowering them to live their best lives. The free, in-person forum will take place in Toronto on September 22 at the community cultural hub at Artscape Wychwood Barns.
The We've Got Guts Forum aims to inspire and empower attendees through meaningful talks, informative science-backed insights, and hands-on workshops hosted by some of Canada's top thought leaders. The renowned speakers will address the topics of gut health and empowerment through different lenses, offering fresh perspectives and constructive advice for those seeking to enhance their daily lives. Among the recognized speakers are:
- Penny Oleksiak, Canada's most decorated Olympian. As a seasoned athlete, Penny will inspire attendees through motivational talks aimed at supporting them in achieving personal and professional goals.
- Andrea Hardy, registered dietitian and gut health specialist. Dubbed "Canada's Gut Health Expert", Andrea will educate attendees on making nutrition-based decisions that support overall well-being.
- Amber Cohen, Registered Clinical Psychologist. Through a science-based lens, Amber will use her extensive experience as a Doctor of Clinical Psychology to teach attendees all about the mind-gut connection, addressing trauma, anxiety, and stress reduction, as well as practical tools for improved wellbeing.
- Chloe Wilde, entertainment reporter and wellness-focused entrepreneur. Boasting an impressive career in journalism and a successful multi-platform health company, Chloe will offer tips and tricks on leading with your gut and being brave enough to follow your dreams.
- Jully Black, singer, songwriter, and actress. A multiple Juno award-winning singer and philanthropist, Jully will share the lessons she learned throughout her own journey of purpose, success, and self-love.
- Raia Carey, life coach and speaker. With years of experience delivering coaching and motivational courses, Raia will provide tangible advice for building self-esteem and fostering inner confidence.
