TORONTO, March 22, 2012 /CNW/ - CTV and The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences CARAS confirmed today that global phenomenon K'NAAN will join previously announced performer Simple Plan on THE 2012 JUNO AWARDS broadcast, Sunday, April 1. K'NAAN will join 2012 Allan Waters Humanitarian Award recipients Simple Plan on their song "Summer Paradise." It was also announced today that JUNO Award-winning artist Lights and JUNO Award-nominated producer, songwriter, vocalist and house music DJ MC Flipside will join previously announced performer deadmau5 on THE 2012 JUNO AWARDS stage. deadmau5, the three-time 2012 JUNO Award nominee and electronic artist, will perform "Hi Friend", featuring MC Flipside, and "Raise Your Weapon", featuring Lights.
