ADF Group Inc. obtains its certification from the AMF under the new Bill 1 on the integrity in public contracts Français
TERREBONNE, QC, March 13, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - ADF GROUP INC. ("ADF" or the "Corporation") (TSX: DRX) announces that it has received from the "Autorité des Marchés Financiers" ("AMF") the authorization now required under the new provincial Bill 1 on the integrity in public contracts. This new authorization is mandatory for all corporations that wish to work on any public construction or services contract exceeding $40 million. The authorization is valid for a three-year period and is subject to certain conditions.
Jean-Francois Boursier, Chief Financial Officer, said that ADF is proud to be one of the first companies to obtain this new certification. He also pointed out that this authorization represents another important step toward the award of the contract for the fabrication of the steel structure of the new Quebec City amphitheatre. At the close of the bidding process, last February 6, ADF was designated as the lowest bidder for this construction project, although certain other conditions needed to be met, including the issuance of the authorization by the AMF. Now that this condition has been fulfilled, the Corporation can look forward to finalizing the discussions with City officials and being officially awarded the fabrication contract within the next few days.
