Adolescent self-regulation is a key factor in student retention
MONTREAL, March 31, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - An in-depth study of close to 1000 adolescents, as well as parents and teachers, has confirmed that the ability of secondary students to self-regulate is a significant predictor of academic retention. This research, by UQAM Psychology professor Marie-Hélène Véronneau and others, was published recently in the Journal of Educational Psychology.
