ADP Canada National Employment Report: Employment in Canada Increased by 32,700 Jobs in February 2018 Français
TORONTO, March 15, 2018 /CNW/ - Employment in Canada increased by 32,700 jobs from January to February according to the February ADP® Canada National Employment Report. Broadly distributed to the public each month, free of charge, the ADP Canada National Employment Report is produced by the ADP Research Institute®. The report, which is derived from actual ADP payroll data, measures the change in total nonfarm payroll employment each month on a seasonally-adjusted basis.

"February was a strong month for job growth in Canada," said Ahu Yildirmaz, vice president and co-head of the ADP Research Institute. "The education and healthcare industry had particularly significant growth, in fact it accounted for half of all of the jobs added this month. We also saw notable gains in trade, and construction."

The January total of jobs added was revised down from 10,700 to -2,300.
