TORONTO, July 31, 2024 /CNW/ - Adventus Mining Corporation ("Adventus" or the "Company") (TSXV: ADZN) (OTCQX: ADVZF) is pleased to announce, further to the news releases dated April 26, 2024, June 17, 2024, July 5, 2024 and July 25, 2024 and the news release of Silvercorp Metals Inc. ("Silvercorp") dated July 5, 2024 and July 31, 2024, that following the resolution in favour of the Ecuador government of the court proceeding in the Judicial Unit of the Canton of Las Naves in respect of the constitutional protective action filed against the Ministry of Environment, Water and Ecological Transition of Ecuador and the office of the Attorney General of Ecuador on June 5, 2024 (as accepted by the court on June 12, 2024) (the "Protective Action"), Silvercorp has advised Adventus that it no longer considers that the Protective Action to be a Material Adverse Effect as defined in the arrangement agreement dated April 26, 2024 between Adventus and Silvercorp. As such, the parties are taking all necessary steps to close the plan of arrangement transaction on July 31, 2024.
