Advisory - Parks Canada Youth Ambassadors Embark on an Exhilarating Expedition into the Heart of Jasper National Park

CALGARY, Aug. 2, 2013 /CNW/ - Parks Canada's Youth Ambassadors, Julia Belliveau and Colin Sutherland, are inviting members of the media to meet them along with 40 young Canadians before the start of an amazing adventure, Expedition50, to Jasper National Park.

To celebrate their 50^th anniversary, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Program has teamed up with Parks Canada to deliver Expedition50. This journey falls within the Parks Canada Youth Ambassadors' efforts to raise awareness and encourage youth to discover our country's nature and heritage.

Julia and Colin's participation in Expedition50 is one of the highlights of their summer and their last major activity. They will also take this opportunity to brief media on their trips and experiences as youth ambassadors.
