• Sisu Inc. is advising consumers to return products by March 31, 2018 for either a full refund or an exchange.
• Contact Sisu Customer Care at 1-800-663-4163, or email [email protected] if you have questions or concerns.
• Report adverse events to health products to Health Canada by calling toll-free at 1‑866‑234‑2345, or by reporting online, by mail or by fax.
• Report complaints about health products to Health Canada by calling toll-free at 1‑800‑267‑9675, or complete an online complaint form.

What Health Canada is doing
Health Canada is monitoring the company's recall. Should Health Canada become aware of additional safety information, it will take appropriate action and inform Canadians as necessary.

Background
Sisu Inc. has advised Health Canada that the packaging defect was caused by a manufacturing issue involving some of the 100cc glass bottles used in the packaging of certain Sisu products beginning in October 2015 through March 2016.  

According to the company, an issue in the bottle manufacturing process resulted in a small piece of glass being left attached to the bottom-inside surface of the bottle. Sisu identified the problem after receiving a customer complaint. To date, no injuries have been reported to the company or to Health Canada associated with this defect.
