OTTAWA, March 8, 2012 /CNW/ - Approximately 200 delegates, members of the Association des enseignantes et des enseignants franco-ontariens (AEFO), and 50 guests will be attending AEFO's 2012 Policy Convention in Ottawa, from March 10 to 13, 2012. AEFO represents 10 000 teachers and education workers in Ontario's French-language elementary and secondary schools, both Catholic and public, and workers in other French-language establishments.
Throughout the four-day event, delegates will elect the 2012-2014 Provincial Executive Committee, discuss issues pertaining to the operations of the Association and establish by-laws and policies for the next two years. Ontario's Minister of Education, the Honorable Laurel Broten, and representatives of the two Opposition parties at Queen's Park will address the delegates.
Representatives of the media are asked to register in the Nunavut Room, on the 4th floor. All activities will be held in the Provinces/Confederation I & II Room, on the 4th floor.
