Global security leader to expand its investigations services to help clients combat insurance fraud, corporate theft and fraud, trademark infringements and HR violations
MILTON, ON, July 17, 2014 /CNW/ - AFIMAC Global has appointed Craig D'Souza, a seasoned corporate security leader and forensics investigator, as its Senior Director of Corporate Investigations.
Mr. D'Souza will be focused on expanding AFIMAC's corporate investigations services to meet a growing need across North America for professional assistance in combating insurance fraud, corporate theft and fraud, trademark infringements and HR-related violations. Specifically, he will be mobilizing AFIMAC's elite investigations team to assist clients with insurance fraud associated with accident benefit claims, WSIB and workers compensation, along with human resources violations that include high risk terminations, corporate theft, workplace violence and substance abuse.

Mr. D'Souza brings extensive international leadership skills in risk management and security investigations through his work across North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. Prior to AFIMAC, he spent eight years with the Toronto Police Services in an undercover capacity dealing with major, large-scale investigations. He also led an elite team of investigators at Target to successfully resolve many internal and external provincial and national threats, including organized crime, significant fraud and counterfeit incidents. Mr. D'Souza is an accredited Forensics Investigator, formally trained in mobile surveillance, workplace violence detection and prevention, major case management, interviewing and interrogation, drug interdiction and investigation, anti-terrorism and anarchist detection, and Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED). He holds an MBA from Columbia Southern, where he graduated summa cum laude.
