AGILE2015 Conference to Host Roundtable Discussion with Leading Industry Analysts
Top industry analysts will gather together during annual event to discuss the latest Agile trends and best practices
PORTLAND, Ore., July 27, 2015 /CNW/ -- Agile Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the advancement of Agile software development principles and practices, will host an Industry Analyst Roundtable at the AGILE2015 conference featuring leading research analysts from Cutter Consortium, IDC, and VDC Research Group. The panel discussion will take place on Tuesday, August 4 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Eastern at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
The session, titled "Agile Trends and Future Directions," will explore the latest innovations and emerging best practices being deployed within enterprise IT organizations, as well as the latest trends in Agile software development.
Panel members will offer their unique perspectives and share the industry knowledge they have gained through their work with leading vendors and IT organizations. A Q&A format will enable attendees to steer the session in directions that are most applicable to today's business challenges. The Roundtable, moderated by Jim Newkirk (Vice President of Engineering, CenturyLink Cloud), includes: Melinda Ballou (IT Industry Analyst, IDC), Steve Denning (Author and Management Consultant), André Girard (Senior Analyst, VDC Research Group), Tom Grant (Senior Consultant, Cutter Consortium) and Ron Jeffries (Extreme Programming Innovator, Author, Coach, and Trainer).
