AHAM Canada Announces New Leadership
WASHINGTON and OTTAWA, Jan. 24, 2013 /CNW/ - The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers Canada today announced the appointment of Sue Stevenson, Vice President/ General Manager of Electrolux Major Appliances, Canada, as Chair of AHAM's Canada Council. The Council is AHAM Canada's membership body that oversees the association's work in Canada. In this leadership position, Stevenson will also serve as a voting member of AHAM's Board of Directors.

In addition to the appointment of Stevenson, AHAM Canada also announced the promotion of Bruce Rebel from Director of Technical Services to Vice President and General Manager of AHAM Canada. Rebel has more than fifteen years of regulatory and quality assurance experience in Canada, and several years of experience directly in the appliance industry. The AHAM Canada office, located in Ottawa, ON will staff three Canadian employees.
