MONTREAL, Aug. 2, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Air Liquide Canada, a subsidiary of Air Liquide Group, the world leader in gases for industry, health and the environment, announced today it has acquired all of the assets of Sunox Industrial Gases Inc. (Sunox). Specializing in the distribution of industrial gases, welding equipment and propane, Sunox is a Canadian-owned independent filler and welding products distributor in Ontario with a major filling plant located in Cambridge and a satellite outlet located in Concord.

Sunox Industrial Gases was established in 1997 by Claude Chabot, Glenn Davidson and Ken Coleman. The former Sunox owners will join Air Liquide Canada and assist with the integration and long term development of Air Liquide's distribution network in Ontario.
