DAWSON CREEK, BC, Oct. 30, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - During the inauguration of its new Air Separation Unit (ASU) in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Air Liquide Canada donated $10,000 to the South Pace Community Resources Society's (SPCRS) Reconnect Program for youth. Reconnect offers a safe environment, works towards reconnecting youth with their families, school and the community, provides counseling and group education and advocates on behalf of youth with the aim of developing life skills. SPCRS representatives Stefan Pavlis, Arden Smith and Jane Harper were in attendance to receive Air Liquide Canada's donation.
"We are grateful for the welcome we have received at Dawson Creek and investing in the Reconnect Program to help provide at-risk youth with a solid support system during a transition period in their lives is our way of saying we are glad to be here and that we care about our new community," said Adam Peters, Air Liquide Canada President and CEO.
