MONTREAL, Jan. 23, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Did you know that 33% of Canadians haven't taken a vacation in the past two years? That finding, revealed in a recent Ipsos poll,1 raised eyebrows at Air Transat, the country's leading leisure airline, so the company immediately decided to take concrete action in line with its brand promise: to brighten the everyday with the joy of vacations.
Eager to learn more about why some Canadians hardly ever take a vacation, Air Transat mounted an operation to "infiltrate" the performance-evaluation meetings of employees at a select group of companies. These workers all had something in common: they are very much appreciated by their employer, and their dedication to their jobs goes above and beyond the call, but they neglect one essential aspect of their work/life balance: they never go on holiday!
Vacation Intervention contest
To help workers who could use a break, Air Transat is pleased to launch the Vacation Intervention contest. Canadians are invited to nominate a deserving friend, family member or co-worker who hasn't been on a holiday in a long time. Entries are being accepted until February 4 via one of the participating radio stations or the Air Transat contests page. There are 19 all-inclusive Sun destinations packages to be won.

In this case, the poll is accurate to within ±2.5 percentage points, 19 times out of 20, had all Canadian adults been polled. – https://www.ipsos.com/en-ca/news-polls/allianz-winter-vacation-2017 |
