Aird & Berlis LLP's Women's Event Features Jeanne Beker and Dress for Success Toronto

TORONTO, May 4, 2015 /CNW/ - Aird & Berlis LLP will be hosting its annual Women's Event this year on Wednesday, May 6 at Toronto's historic Carlu and in collaboration with Town Shoes Limited, featuring Jeanne Beker at The Shoe Company. This event will include special guest, Jeanne Beker, and provide visibility and support for Dress for Success Toronto. Dress for Success is a global not-for-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

The theme of the event is successful women and shoes. To illustrate this idea, all attendees will be encouraged to check their heels on arriving and enjoy the evening in a pair of ballet flats that will be provided at the door. The idea of professional women interacting in comfortable shoes emphasizes the strength and empowerment of today's corporate woman.

To add to the fun of the event, attendees have been given the chance to opt-in for an opportunity to walk in a runway show wearing shoes from Jeanne Beker's 2015 Spring Collection. The runway show will consist of the clients of Aird & Berlis LLP and Margot Getz, client and 2015 International Delegate for Dress for Success Toronto. Jeanne Beker will be emceeing the runway show and will speak about her experience in becoming the successful woman she is today.

Aird & Berlis LLP will be donating 50 pairs of shoes to Dress for Success Toronto in honour of this occasion and is sponsoring their Bay Street Suit Challenge.
