Alberta Electronic Recycler processes 66 million pounds of eWaste
CALGARY, March 30, 2016 /CNW/ - Recycle-Logic Inc., a Red Deer Electronic Recycling company has been in business for twelve years and they are still going strong. "As of the end of March we have recycled 66 million pounds of discarded electronics that were collected from all over the province," said Todd Burton, President. "Over 15 million pounds were collected at our two Calgary drop-off locations-Currie Barracks and Market on Macleod."
Recycle-Logic also believes in trying to give back to the community, they collect donations of non-perishable items or cash for the Calgary Food Bank. Todd says "We have collected around 55,000 worth of food. People really like our drive-through service so they don't mind donating to the Food Bank at the same time. When we started our business we really wanted to find a way to give back to the community, and now with the recession we are experiencing it is more important and ever to help others out."
