MISSISSAUGA, ON, Nov. 14, 2022 /CNW/ - Alectra Inc. ("Alectra" or the "Corporation") announced today that it has closed its private placement offering of C$250 million aggregate principal amount of 5.225% Series 2022-1 senior unsecured debentures (the "Series 2022-1 Debentures") due November 14, 2052. The net proceeds of the offering will be used to repay indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.
The Series 2022-1 Debentures were offered in each of the provinces of Canada on a private placement basis through a syndicate of agents that was co-led by BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. and TD Securities Inc.
No securities regulatory authority has either approved or disapproved of the contents of this news release. The Series 2022-1 Debentures have not been registered under the United States Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "U.S. Securities Act") or any state securities laws.
