MISSISSAUGA, ON, March 28, 2019 /CNW/ - Alectra Utilities encourages individuals and businesses in our service territory to conserve electricity, not only during Earth Hour (March 30, 8:30-9:30 p.m.), but all year round.
In 2018, Alectra Utilities' Conservation and Demand Management team assisted homeowners and businesses in the following communities in reducing electricity consumption by 326,507,648 kWh, which is equivalent to taking 36,000 homes off the grid for one year or turning off approximately 22 trillion 14-watt LED lights for Earth Hour.
