The 2018 report entitled "Sustainable Power: Discovering the Possibilities", highlights company initiatives which contributed to Alectra's success during the year.
As Alectra builds on its sustainability commitments, the local utility once again delivered impressive results for its customers, shareholders and communities - while remaining a trusted ally in the rapidly changing world of energy. Some 2018 highlights for Alectra include:
- Improving the customer satisfaction rate to 91%
- Increasing billing accuracy rates to 99.6% and call-answer response time to 78%
- Decreasing greenhouse gas emissions by 5.11% compared to the 2016 baseline
- Investing $283 million in infrastructure projects to enhance system reliability
