While Andrea and Ebonie found themselves in the lead early on in tonight's episode, they struggled with both Detours and ultimately found themselves at the back of the pack. While they were the last team to reach Jon Montgomery at the pit stop, they were elated to learn they would not be eliminated and that they were still in the race.

In tonight's episode of THE AMAZING RACE CANADA, the remaining seven teams travelled from the Pit Start in Castlegar, B.C., to The Great Wall of China in Beijing. There, Racers had to memorize a Sinorama tour script of important facts about The Wall, incorporating three different languages – English, French, and Mandarin. Once they successfully conducted their tour, they received their next clue. Andrea and Ebonie completed the tour on their first try, and jumped to the front of the pack. After dealing with a difficult cab driver, Korey and Ivana found themselves in the last spot heading to their next destination.
Teams then made their way to the Canadian Embassy, located in downtown Beijing. After interrupting a Canadian game of ball hockey, they received their next clue. In this Detour, teams had to choose between, "In-Sync" or "In-Line." With "In-Sync," teams had to suit up with China's Olympic divers, master the skill of synchronized diving, and receive a combined score of 20 or more from the judges to get their next clue. For the "In-Line" Detour, Racers had to learn a choreographed dance and master all the right moves to receive their next clue. The diving challenge had Ebonie falling flat while Ivana injured her back trying to score with the judges. After struggling to get "In-Sync," both teams decided to switch Detours.
Racers then faced a Roadblock where one member of each team had to successfully fill a prescription of herbal remedies. Racers had to search hundreds of drawers in the shop to find the correct ones that matched the Chinese characters on their prescription. After finding the three drawers containing the right ingredients and weighing the correct amount, teams were given their next clue, which had them racing to the Pit Stop at the Drum Tower of Beijing. Dating couple Sam and Paul were the first to arrive, winning a trip for two to China from Sinorama. While Andrea and Ebonie were the last to arrive to the mat, they found out from Jon Montgomery that their time on the race wasn't over as the leg was a non-elimination one and they were to continue racing to Shanghai, China.
