Alliance Pipeline Announces New VP of Law, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary
CALGARY, May 1, 2013 /CNW/ - Alliance Pipeline Ltd. announced that, effective today, William (Bill) Christensen has been appointed the company's new Vice President, Law, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary.

Mr. Christensen has over 25 years of legal experience in the pipeline, logistics and facilities management industries, including several years as a litigator in private practice. He has been with Alliance since 2006 in the role of Senior Corporate Counsel & Privacy Officer.

Mr. Christensen is replacing Ms. Susan Wright who has held the position of VP of Law, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary with Alliance since February 2007. Ms. Wright's planned retirement, effective April 30, has her looking forward to increasing her community involvement and spending more time with her family.

The Alliance Pipeline system consists of a 2,311-mile integrated Canadian and U.S. high-pressure natural gas transmission pipeline system, delivering rich natural gas from the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and the Williston Basin to the Chicago market hub. The system has been in commercial service since December 2000 and delivers, on average, about 1.6 billion standard cubic feet (or 45.3 million standard cubic metres) of natural gas per day.
